I’m Dr Mish Seabrook, usually found with a smile and a snazzy jacket!
I’m here to help you hack the juggle. As women wellbeing solo/entrepreneurs, I know that it can be challenge to be there for others, and to maintain our own wellbeing. Why do I get this? Because that’s me too!
To struggle with the juggle of life & work can be a difficult for many, but especially if you are a women in wellbeing. Because in order to help others, that would mean that we already have it all sorted right?!
Errm, nope.
We can can find it hard to manage our own stuff, but can feel guilty that we are not practicing what we preach 100% of the time. I see that we are not always great about taking up space, or being visible in selling our expertise, so that we are as successful as we’d hope to be in our business. I see that we find life as difficult (and joyful!) as the next person, but also we’re expected to have a magic wand that sorts all of of our own problems out in a ‘swish and a flick’. The reality is that we are human, so life can get in the way, and learning to run a businesses when we want to ‘help others’ can throw up a lot of challenges.
I see you. I am you.
You will be:
A women wellbeing solopreneur (think therapist, coach, holistic practitioner, etc)
Wanting to show up for yourself as you do for others
Aware that practicing what you preach is a challenge
Striving for contentment and resilience in your corner of the world
If this is you, then you are in the right place!
Why me?
I’ve spent (about) the last 25 years helping others tackle their resilience, manage changes in their life, and evolve how they view themselves, their decisions and their corner of the world. Working in everything from mental health charities & helplines, criminal justice, psychological therapies, as a researcher and as a coach/therapist combo, now specifically focussing on someone like you.
I’ve always been curious as to who helps the helpers. In moving into the therapeutic world, I was struck by the idea of being a ‘wounded healer’, and the idea that the reason why people want to help others is because they have a connection with the challenge or difficulty that person is facing. This can be a double edged sword for ourselves and our businesses, particularly as women. We can often feel a conflict with charging for something that involves ‘helping’ others with their wellbeing.
Maintaining our own resilience in our own corner in the world, showing up for others that we work with and those that are important to us, plus running our businesses is the juggle. So I’m here to help you hack it. Through sharing what I know as a person and professional, I’m on a mission to be a resilience warrior for your corner of the world, to help you to be courageous in your business and content in your life, so that you can be your own resilience warrior.
I’ll share what I know and admit to what I don’t. To make it real for your corner of world, pop me a message to let me know what areas of the juggle you’d like some hacks for.
Glad you are here. Let’s go.
